HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women’s soccer coach Ron Rainey has announced the 17-game schedule for the 2018 season beginning in August. The Big Green will host nine games including four Ivy League games. 

“We are excited about our 2018 schedule for the fall,” Rainey said. “It is a demanding non-conference leading up to the Ivy League season. We look forward to putting in the work to get prepared for August camp and the season!”

Dartmouth will host the College of St. Rose for a scrimmage on August 17, one week before opening the regular season at home. Quinnipiac will come to town for the season opener on Friday, August 24, before the Big Green heads out for a three-game road stint.

The first away contest of the year will be at Rhode Island on August 26. After facing the Rams, Dartmouth will head out west for contests against Oregon and Oregon State.

The Big Green will return to the east coast to host Northeastern on Friday, September 7 and Boston University two days later. Thursday, September 13, Dartmouth will take a short trip down the road to Durham, New Hampshire to face UNH in midweek action. 

At the end of that same week the Big Green host UAlbany in a Sunday matinee game on September 16, the final game before conference action. 

Dartmouth’s first Ivy contest is slated for Saturday, September 22 against Brown at home, beginning the alternating weeks of playing at home and away for league play. The following Saturday the Big Green travel to face Princeton at 4 p.m. 

Yale will also come play at Burnham Field on October 6 with a 1 p.m. start. The Big Green travel to Worcester to play Holy Cross on the following Tuesday at 7 p.m., the final non-conference road game of the season.

Dartmouth will host Penn on October 13 at 1 p.m. and Marist the following Monday, October 15, in the last non-conference game.

Ivy League action will round out the last three games of the season, beginning at Columbia on October 20. The Big Green’s last home game of the year will be against Harvard on October 27 at 7 p.m., before they travel to Cornell for a November 3 game in the regular season finale.
