HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth heavyweight and lightweight rowing teams hosted their final event of the fall season, the Green Monster, on Sunday on the Connecticut River.  

The freshman-only race was won by the Big Green’s heavyweight boat, while the lightweight squad entered a boat and a third boat for the hosting team was a secondary heavyweight group. 

All three teams finished in the top eight, with the heavy crew coming in first (13:59.570), the lightweight team finished fourth (14:38.610) and the second heavy team took fifth (14:30.1). 

Dartmouth will return to the water in April.
