HANOVER, N.H.Buddy Teevens, the Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach at Dartmouth College,announced his incoming recruits for the fall of 2017 with a total of 30 student-athletes listed, which includes two potential walk-ons. Among the recruits are five defensive backs, five offensive linemen, five linebackers, five defensive linemen, three quarterbacks, three wide receivers, two running backs and two tight ends.

The student-athletes will come from 17 different states with Florida and Illinois boasting four student-athletes. New Jersey has the next most with three recruits, while Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, Missouri and Pennsylvania each have two. Other states represented in the class are Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

One of the recruits, quarterback Jimmy Fitzgerald, is a transfer from the University of Illinois, where he took a redshirt in 2015. He will have three years of eligibility with the Big Green.

Dartmouth is coming off a 2016 season in which it went 4-6 overall — including a 22-21 victory over nationally ranked New Hampshire in the season opener — and 1-6 in conference play with three of the league losses coming by two or three points. The 2017 season will begin on Sept. 167 when the Big Green travel to Florida to play Stetson for the first time in program history.
