HANOVER, N.H. — Newly hired men’s basketball head coach David McLaughlin today announced the dates of his summer camps today with a youth camp scheduled for June 27-30 and an overnight elite camp on August 13-14, both to take place in Leede Arena on the campus of Dartmouth College.
The youth camp is for boys entering grades one through nine, featuring daily basketball drills and activities with individualized instruction from college coaches and players. The camp will begin each day at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
The overnight elite camp is for boys entering grades nine through 12, giving campers the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a Dartmouth men’s basketball player and compete in the Ivy League. McLaughlin and his staff will put campers through a college practice atmosphere with team and individual drill sessions that are done daily by the Dartmouth team. Campers can spend the night in one of the dorms or commute both days.
