HANOVER, N.H.  –  The Dartmouth women’s tennis team ended the 2014 season ranked No. 7 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Northeast Region rankings.

In the final ITA singles rankings, Katherine Yau ’16 was No. 8 and Taylor Ng ’17 was No. 10. Last month, Yau was named First Team All-Ivy while Ng was a Second Team All-Ivy selection.

Dartmouth finished the Ivy League with a 4-3 record. The Big Green wrapped up the year with a 4-3 victory over No. 54 Harvard. It was an exceptionally strong campaign for Ivy League tennis as two teams qualified for the NCAA Team Championship - Princeton and No. 39 Columbia.

Yau, who played all but one match at number one singles, was 9-7 overall and was 8-7 at number one doubles with Taylor Ng. She is from Manhasset, New York, and is majoring in neuroscience.

Ng was named team Most Valuable and Most Improved Player after going 6-1 in the Ivy League at number two singles, and finished 22-6 in singles play and 17-11 in doubles.
