HANOVER, N.H.  –  The Dartmouth women’s crew team captured the Parents’ Cup on Saturday morning, as the team hosted its first regatta of the spring season over Cornell and Central Florida.

The Big Green won three of five events raced on the day, as the Connecticut River provided a tail current and flat water. In the Varsity 8, the Big Green finished first in 5:58.3, two seconds ahead of Cornell and 24 seconds in front of UCF.

In the second Varsity 8, the Big Green once again took first in 6:10.0, five second over the Big Red and almost 18 seconds ahead of the Knights.  The Varsity 4 was a big win for the hosts in 6:52.5.

In the final event of the regatta the Varsity 4B the Big Red won with the Green and White finishing second and fourth.

Dartmouth will prepare for the Ivy Championships in Camden, New Jersey on May 18.
