NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Saturday saw the Dartmouth women’s track & field team compete in the Mark Young Invitational at Yale’s Dewitt Cuyler Athletic Complex.

For the Big Green as a whole, it was the third meet of the weekend after other individuals ran at the Mt. Sac Relays in California and the Larry Ellis Invite at Princeton on Friday.
Dartmouth walked away with the win with 113.30 points, just beating out Brown with 111.16 in 19 events scored.

On this day in New Haven, Lauren Ready set a program record in the 100m hurdles, crossing the line in 14.42 and breaking the old record of 14.49 set by Janae Dunchack at last year’s Heps in Philadelphia.

In the 100m, Kaitlin Whitehorn claimed second in 11.86 and Sara Kikut was third in 12.20. Whitehorn would also take the top spot in the high jump, clearing 1.75m.

Jennifer Meech added individual wins in the 200m (24.13) and 400m (57.01) races to Dartmouth’s total as well. Additionally, Kikut claimed fourth in the 200, while Megan Krumpoch was third in the 400.
