DERBY, CONN.  –  The Dartmouth men’s lightweight rowing team finished second at the Durand Cup Regatta on Saturday morning against Yale.

The regatta was moved from Hanover due to uncooperative weather along the Connecticut River and moved to lower New England. The Bulldogs won all three events, but the Big Green put out a valiant effort in the Varsity Eight race. Yale took the V8, in 5:31.16, while Dartmouth finished in 5:38.49.

In the Second Varsity 8, Dartmouth finished in 5:47.96 and in the 3V & 3V/2F Dartmouth finished in 6:17.11

The lightweight team will be back in action tomorrow when they battle for the Subin Cup against Columbia.
