CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Dartmouth men’s squash team ended the 2013-14 season with a 5-4 win over Western Ontario on Sunday in the third-place match at the Hoehn Cup.

The 2014 Hoehn Cup is hosted by Harvard, contested at the Murr Center and features the No. 9 - No. 16 ranked teams in the country.

With the victory, the Big Green finish the year ranked No. 11 in the country and snapped a two-match losing streak against the Mustangs.

Senor Fletcher Pease concluded his Dartmouth career with a five-game win at No. 4 against Adam Engel. After losing the opening game, the Cincinnati, Ohio, native rallied to take three of the last four.

Glen Brickman won his match at No. 9 in three games, shutting out Eric Mercer, 11-9, 11-7, 11-9. Michael Mistras also blanked his opponent, winning, 3-0, at No. 6.

George Henderson and James Fisch were the other Dartmouth players to earn points in the match versus the Mustangs. Fisch won in four games at No. 7, while Henderson battled for a five-game triumph. After falling in the first two games, the freshman rallied to win the final three.

In his final collegiate match, Chris Jung fell in four games at No. 2 to James Van Staveren. Jung took the opening game, but then dropped the final three.

The Big Green will next compete at the CSA Individual Championships, Feb. 28- Mar. 1, in Philadelphia.
