HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth track & field programs will be in two different places this weekend as several members of the team will compete at Penn State, while a majority of the Big Green will be in Hanover for the Dartmouth Classic.
The Dartmouth Classic gets underway Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. inside Leverone Field House with field events kicking the day off. The meet marks the third of four at home this season for the Green and White, who will also serve as the hosts of the 2014 Heptagonal Championship Meet on March 1-2.
While the Dartmouth Classic is the primary meet this weekend for a majority of the student-athletes, several will be at University Park on Friday night for the Penn State National.
Looking to earn an NCAA qualifying time in the Distance Medley Relay (DMR), Dartmouth will send a men’s and women’s contingent to the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track at the Multi-Sport Facility to compete in the event.
Penn State is streaming the event through FloTrack and can be viewed by anyone with an account.
Lancer Timing will once again be providing timing services at Saturday’s meet in Hanover and will have live results continually updating on its website throughout.
