All-Time Series (Cornell)
The Big Green, unbeaten in the past sixteen meetings with the Big Red, holds a 23-7-5 record over its “Big” nemesis. The last time Dartmouth lost to Cornell, November 11, 1995, Bill Clinton was in his first-term as President of the United States of America. The Big Green’s defeat was in the ECAC Tournament, 3-0 - the team had also fallen in the Ancient 8 season, 3-1.
With a 7-7-1 record on the season, Cornell has been on a teeter-totter ride since day one, with the latter part of the season on the down side. Prior to its October 12, 7-2, shellacking against Harvard, the Big Red were 7-3-1. Since then, a four-game losing streak and a -10 differential in goals has put them in the Ivy League cellar. Caroline Growney leads the team with 15 points on seven goals and one assist. Elizabeth Crowell is second on the squad with 11 points. Kelsey Tierney and Tori Christ have split time in the cage this season. Tierney is 4-6 with a 1.63 goals against average, while Christ is 3-1-1 with a 1.07 GAA.
