CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The duo of Max Schmidt and Blake Niehaus represented the Dartmouth men’s tennis team at the Harvard Halloween Invite over the weekend. The tandem picked up a trio of wins in singles action and one win in doubles play.

On day one, Schmidt topped Bryant’s Ernesto Arguello in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3.

On day two, both Schmidt and Niehaus won their singles matches. Schmidt again won in straight sets while Niehaus won a three-set thriller versus Rob Jacobson of Tufts. After netting singles wins, the pair scored a doubles triumph.

On the final day, Schmidt fell in the Flight B finals to USMA’s Grant Riechmann and Niehaus lost the Flight B Consolation Final in three sets.
