CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a nearly three-hour battle in the semifinals of the ITA Northeast Regional on Tuesday, No. 2 seed Bianca Sanon of Columbia edged Dartmouth freshman Jacqueline Crawford, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4.

The two Ivy foes traded blows throughout the three-set thriller before the No. 104 ranked senior prevailed over Crawford.

The Bloomfield, Mich., native was the last member of the women’s tennis team left standing and made an impressive run.

Crawford and the rest of the Big Green women return to the courts Nov. 1-3, as the team welcomes UMass, Boston University and St. John’s to Hanover for the Big Green Invitational.
