NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth women’s tennis team had another showing on day two of the Ivy Challenge hosted by Yale on Saturday. The Big Green went a perfect 7-0 in singles play and 1-3 in doubles action.

All seven members of the team to compete in singles netted victories. Five players topped competitors from Iowa while Suzy Tan defeated Laura Ramthun of Virginia Tech and Narni Summerall won a three-set thriller versus Sarah Dalton of Boston College. Taylor Ng, Katherine Yau and Melissa Matsuoka each won in straight sets. Jacqueline Crawford and Julienne Keong Si Ying both won three set thrillers. Both Crawford and Keong won the first and third sets sandwiched around a loss in the second set.

In doubles action, Yau and Ng topped a duo from Purdue, 8-5, giving them a perfect 2-0 record on the weekend.

The Big Green wrap up the Ivy Challenge on Sunday, Oct. 6, taking on Purdue in singles action.
