HANOVER, N.H. — With the fall athletics season just around the corner, Dartmouth Athletics, in partnership with NeuLion, has extended the introductory offer on an annual subscription to Big Green Insider for an extra week. Fans can get a full year of every live stream that Dartmouth produces, as well as Ivy games on the road, discounted by 20 percent off the regular price.
Available now through Aug. 28, DartmouthSports.com, fans can purchase a discounted 12-month package to Big Green Insider — the Dartmouth channel on the newly created Ivy League Digital Network — at a special introductory price of $71.95. The package includes multi-camera HD coverage of all home games in football, men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s hockey; HD streaming of home events in many other sports; and, for the first time, live coverage of all Ivy away games in football, basketball and hockey as well as many league away contests in other sports. These events will also be available on-demand for viewing at any time.
Starting with the 2013-14 season, Big Green Insider will include an easy-to-navigate interface with a league-wide network schedule and new interactive features that showcase the expanded content offerings available on computer, mobile and tablet devices, all without the use of an app.
Beginning on Aug. 28, a variety of subscription packages will be offered for Big Green Insider, including a 12-month pass for $89.95, a four-month pass for $34.95, a one-month pass for $10.95 or a single-day pass for $9.95. Occasional nationally televised games will not be included, but broadcast network information will be provided.
“This is a terrific breakthrough for our fans,” said Dartmouth Athletics Director Harry Sheehy. “Any time a Big Green team is playing an Ivy League opponent on the road and the host school is streaming the event, our subscribers will now be able to watch it on our own channel. We’re also substantially upgrading the production quality of a number of our home games with multiple HD cameras, instant replays, new graphics and more close-ups. And as part of the new Ivy League Digital Network, fans can actually watch up to four events simultaneously, and everything we offer can now be accessed on phones and tablets as well as computers.”
In addition to the school-specific packages, fans can sign up at IvyLeagueDigitalNetwork.com for Ivy League-wide subscriptions that include live and on-demand content from a variety of sports across all eight schools and conference championship events, as well as additional premium content not available anywhere else.
A special introductory 12-month, league-wide pass is also available now at a discounted price of $95.95 until Aug. 28. At launch, multiple league-wide packages will be available, including a 12-month pass for $119.95, a four-month pass for $49.95 and a one-month pass for $15.95.
