ALBANY, N.Y. – The Dartmouth women’s hockey team saw 14 student-athletes from this past season earn ECAC Hockey All-Academic honors for the 2012-13 school year.
Players are eligible for the all-academic team if they earn a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or have a GPA over 3.0 over the past three semesters.
Seniors Jenna Hobeika, Margaux Sharp, Lisa Berreman, Jessica Gagner and Sally Komarek all received the distinction for the fourth time, being named to the team every year while with the Big Green. The Class of 2013 paced a core of Dartmouth skaters that were honored for their work on the ice and in the classroom.
Juniors and 2013-14 team co-captains Lindsay Holdcroft and Ali Winkel also found their names on the list. Holdcroft was honored for the third consecutive year, while Winkel made it for the second time in her career.
In all, Dartmouth's 14 names on the women's list were part of 156 student-athletes from across the league's 12 institutions. Brown led the way with 19 honorees, with Dartmouth's total ranking fifth.
