DES MOINES, Iowa – Fresh off her third individual NCAA National Championship of 2013, Dartmouth junior Abbey D’Agostino will look to build on recent successes as she competes at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend.

The meet takes place at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, site of D’Agostino’s first career national championship win at the 2012 outdoor meet when she won the 5000m outdoor title.

Just two weeks after winning the outdoor 5000m for the second time in as many years at Oregon’s Hayward Field, D’Agostino will once again be competing in the event on Sunday with a chance to represent the United States on the line.

Each event will take three entrants to represent Team USA at the 2013 IAAF World Championships August 10-18 in Moscow, Russia.

D’Agostino, who recently became the first Ivy League student-athlete ever to be named a semifinalist for The Bowerman Award as the nation’s top collegiate track & field competitor, is scheduled to race in the 5000m at 4:22 ET on Sunday afternoon.
