A native of Portsmouth, N.H., Noucas was a four-year point guard on the women’s basketball team at Bowdoin. During her playing career, the Polar Bears won three NESCAC conference championships and made four straight NCAA tournament appearances including two Elite 8 and two Round of 32 finishes.

Noucas left her mark in the record books and is ranked among the school’s all-time leaders in multiple categories, including sixth in career three-point field goals made and seventh in career assists. She was a first-team all-conference selection her senior year and also garnered NESCAC All-Academic honors. Additionally, she earned the Bowdoin Pride Award in 2008, the Bowdoin Alumnae Award in 2007 and 2008 and was tabbed as the team's Most Improved Player in 2007. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

In 2013, Noucas earned her Master’s Degree from Ohio University in Coaching and Leadership. She is also a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and was invited to The Center for Coaching Excellence for Assistant Coaches, which is a two-day elite leadership-training program that provides an unparalleled exclusive learning experience for coaches of women’s basketball.
