HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women’s soccer program and head coach Theresa Romagnolo announced that the Big Green will welcome eight student-athletes to Hanover this fall to compete as members of the Dartmouth women’s soccer team.The class includes players from across the country and includes an international player from New Zealand.

“I am thrilled to welcome eight outstanding student-athletes to our program,” said Romagnolo. “They bring athleticism, talent, and a great passion for the game. They also bring experience of competing on championship teams through their club, national teams, and ODP.”

Casey Cousineau
Position:
Goalkeeper
Hometown: Altadena, Calif. (Flintridge Preparatory School)
Club Team: Real So Cal ECNL

Four-year varsity letterwinner at Flintridge Prep … Senior captain … Three-time All-League selection … Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2013 … Led her team to three consecutive Prep League Championships … Posted the lowest GAA for all goalkeepers in league action each of the last three years … Starting goalkeeper for Real So Cal 2013 ECNL SoCal Conference Champion … In 2011, led her team to runner up honors at the ECNL National Championship … 2012 Surf Cup Champions … Member of the 2013 ECNL ID2 Regional Training camp.

Three-year starter at Twin Falls … Conference Offensive Player of the Year … Offensive threat with 91 goals and 25 assists at Twin Falls … Earned Sports Writers Soccer Athlete of the Year … Played at Deerfield Academy her senior year … Led the team to the semifinals of the 2012 NEPSAC Class A Championship … Member of the Boston Globe Girls Soccer All-Scholastic Team … Led FC Nova to the USYA U-16 Presidents Cup National Championship … Member of the Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) team (2008-2010).

Member of the New Zealand Olympic Team that competed in the 2012 London Olympics … Participated with the national team in 2012-2013 for the Cyprus Cup, Oceania Olympic qualifying tour and US Tour in 2012 … With the New Zealand national team for the 2012 U20 and U17 World Cups held in Japan and Trinidad and Tobago … Adelaide United Team competed in the Australian Women’s League in 2012 … Member of the Waikato BOP Provincial Team … Earned U-16 National Championship in 2010 and women’s senior runner-up honors in  2011.
