AUSTIN, Texas – After the first day of competition at the 86th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, Dartmouth junior Janae Dunchack is in 14th place in the women’s heptathlon with 3,121 points.

Only four of the seven scheduled events took place on Wednesday afternoon.

Dunchack took 11th in the high jump, clearing 5-5.25/1.66m (806 points), while claiming seventh in the shot put with a toss of 39-7.25/12.07m (666 points).

She ran a 14.80 in the 100 meters, taking the top spot in her heat and placing 18th overall (868 points). Dunchack was also 18th in the 200m as she ran a 26.18 (781 points).

Thursday will see the junior complete the final three events as she will tackle the long jump, javelin and 800m at the University of Texas’ Mike A. Meyers Stadium.
