HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's tennis team won its fourth straight match on Wednesday evening, topping UMass, 6-1, inside the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion.

After dropping the season opener to Boston College, the Big Green have bounced back defeating each of their opponents without surrendering more than one point.

Dartmouth won all six of the singles matches for second time in 2013.

In singles action, Janet Liu, Katherine Yau, Suzy Tan and Sarah Bessen each won their matches in straight sets for the Big Green.

After dropping the first set to Soni Bokhari, Akiko Okuda rallied to win the next two and earn a point for the team from the Upper Valley.

Melissa Matsuoka won her match at No. 4 singles in taking the third set tie breaker.

In doubles action, Bessen and Matsuoka cruised to an 8-2 victory at No. 2.

Dartmouth will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 23 at home vs. Fordham University at 9 a.m. and Albany at 3 p.m.
