Women's Basketball Set to Host Pink Game
Hanover, N.H. - The Dartmouth Women's Basketball team will join in the nation wide effort to raise cancer awareness through the Play 4Kay initiative on Friday, Feb. 22 against Yale at 7 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the Play 4Kay game. Big Green players will sport pink shooting shirts before the game and Norris Cotton Cancer Center will be on site with an informational table in the lobby of Leede Arena.
In-game promotions include a special edition Play 4Kay pink t-shirt toss courtesy of JMH Wealth Management. There will also be in-game raffle prizes including autographed memorabilia, gift certificates to the Dartmouth Bookstore and more.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the ticket office at 603-646-2466, in person at the Berry Sports Center or online.
The 2013 Play 4Kay initiative (formerly known as WBCA Pink Zone) is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness. Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2 million to support women's cancer research.
