ITHACA, N.Y. - The sixth-seeded Dartmouth men's tennis team lost to seventh-seeded George Washington, 4-3, in the second round of the ECAC Championship on Saturday morning.

The championship is hosted by Cornell and is being contested at the Reis Tennis Center.

The Big Green have now lost two straight matches, falling to 3-5 on the young season.

In doubles action, the Colonials took two of the three matches to grab an early 2-1 advantage. The duo of Brandon DeBot and Xander Centenari cruised to an 8-2 victory at No. 1 to earn the first points of the contest for the Green and White.

In singles action, George Washington pulled away taking a pair of matches to earn the victory.

For Dartmouth, Erik Nordahl won his match at No. 3 singles in straight sets for the second straight day.

Debot and Sam Todd were the other members of the Big Green to earn singles wins. Both DeBot and Todd won in straight sets for the team from the Upper Valley.
