HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's hockey team ran its home unbeaten streak to six on Friday evening, skating past Brown, 2-0, in ECAC Hockey and Ivy League action at Thompson Arena.

With the win, the Big Green swept the season series with the Bears, improving to 13-7-4 overall and 8-6-3 in conference games.

The Green and White shut out the Bears for the second time this season after scoring a 1-0 victory in Providence on Nov. 3.

Junior netminder Lindsay Holdcroft turned aside 15 shots to pick up her third shutout of the season and the 11th of her career. Over the last two games the Pittsburgh, Pa., native has stopped 66 of the 68 shots she has faced.

Laura Stacey continued to impress during her freshman campaign netting the eventual game winner 17:05 into the first period. The marker was Stacey's sixth of the season and the first-year forward has now registered points in five straight home contests.

The Kleinburg, Ontario, native is now the top-scoring freshman in Ivy League games this season, notching three goals and four assists.

Senior co-captain Reagan Fischer added some insurance for Dartmouth in the second netting her team-best 14th marker of the season.

The top line of Fischer, Jenna Hobeika and Camille Dumais continue to carry the offensive load for the Big Green as the trio have now scored 12 of the team's last 20 goals. Hobeika and Dumais picked up assists on Fischer's tally, giving the linemates 47 points (21g-26a) when skating together in 2012-13.

The special teams unit played a key role in the game as the Green and White successfully stopped all five of Brown's power-play chances. Over the last six games, the Big Green have killed 34-of-36 opponents' man-advantage opportunities.

Dartmouth is now 5-2-1 in Ivy League games, while Brown falls to 1-7-0.

The Big Green return to the ice on Feb. 11, as they host ECAC Hockey and Ivy League rival Yale. Puck-drop is scheduled for 5 p.m.
