ETNA, N.H.  - In front of a home crowd at Morton Farm as part of Homecoming Weekend, the Dartmouth Equestrian team once again claimed second place Saturday afternoon.

It was the third straight show that the team has finished second, this time in a field of 11 teams.

In their lone home show of the fall, the Big Green took second with 39 points, trailing only UNH for the second weekend in a row. The Wildcats narrowly edged out the home squad with 43 points.

Senior Courtnie Crutchfield's first-place showing in Walk Trot earned her enough points in Walk Trot to qualify for regionals next spring and advance to the Walk Trot Canter Division.

Fellow senior Rochele Brown claimed first in Advanced Walk Trot Canter with sophomore Tasha Bock taking second. The two earned the required point totals to qualify for regionals as well as move up to the Novice Division.

This weekend will be the final one of the fall for the team. Dartmouth will travel to UNH on Saturday, before the season finale on Sunday in Boxford, Mass., in a show hosted by Endicott.
