HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's cross country team will be back in action this weekend, nine days after last running at the Paul Short Invitational last Friday.
Sunday sees the Big Green sending a portion of the squad to Western Massachusetts to compete in the annual New England Championship held this year at Stanley Park, located in Westfield.
Several of the team's harriers will take to the 5K course for the 1:30 p.m. start time.
Women's cross country head coach Mark Coogan expects strong showings from the likes of juniors Arianna Vailas and Katelyn Walker as well as sophomores Samantha Harmon, Alison Lanois and Ashley Ulrich.
Last season, the Big Green ran to a fifth-place finish with 177 points at Boston's Franklin Park. Valais finished 32nd overall last year in 18:36, competing in a field of 341.
