Assistant Coach
Experience: 1st Year

Morgan Kelly joins the Dartmouth women's lacrosse coaching staff for her first season in 2013, taking on the role as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

A 2010 graduate of James Madison where she earned four varsity letters as a goalkeeper, Kelly has spent the last two years as an assistant on George Mason's staff.

During her playing career, Kelly was recognized several times for her play on the field. In her final season in Harrisonburg, she was honored with a spot on the 2010 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America Third Team as well as the All-South Region Second Team.

Her senior season was capped off in stellar fashion as she was recognized as the Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA) Tournament Most Outstanding Player, leading the Dukes to the first of their two straight league titles. Standout performances that spring also netted National Player of the Week honors en route to the conference crown.

Starting all 20 games in goal that season, Kelly posted career bests in saves (133), goals-against average (6.90), ground balls (27) and caused turnovers (6), while her .508 save percentage ranked fifth amongst the nation's best goalkeepers. Her GAA and save percentage led all CAA goalies in 2010.

With those impressive figures, the CAA coaches honored Kelly as a member of the league's first team that spring, the first such honor in her collegiate career. However, she was no stranger to recognition prior to that, being named the recipient of both the 2007 and 2009 CAA Commissioner's Awards.

Off the field, Kelly served as the Vice President of the JMU Student-Athletic Council for three seasons while also working on the Gender Equity Committee and as a peer educator.

As an assistant with the Patriots, she helped coordinate team practices, several camps and clinics, team functions and travel arrangements. Her experience as a player also served her well as the director for the program's several offseason camps along with numerous other camps in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

A native of Annapolis, Md., Kelly graduated with a degree in Sport Management while minoring in both Business and Human Resource Development.
