HANOVER, N.H. — The four weeks of spring practice for the Dartmouth football team culminates this Saturday with the annual Green-White scrimmage at Memorial Field, starting at 10 a.m. Fans in attendance also will have the opportunity to pick up a 2012 Big Green football poster at the gate nearest the baseball park.
Dartmouth, which finished tied for second in the Ivy League last fall, has the unenviable task of replacing nine of its 10 players that received All-Ivy recognition last season, with linebacker Bronson Green the only holdover. But with running back Dominick Pierre slated to step into the shoes of Nick Schwieger, a recent free-agent signee of the St. Louis Rams and the Big Green’s all-time leading rusher, along with several other talented returnees, Robert L. Blackman Head Coach Buddy Teevens has seen plenty of promise this spring.
