The Dartmouth women's crew team takes to the water on Saturday (April 14) when they race Radcliffe and Syracuse for the O'Leary Cup on the Charles River. The races are set to go off at 8:54 a.m.

Big Green Tidbits
The Class of 1985 Cup is Back in Hanover - In its first Cup race of the 2012 season, Dartmouth claimed victory in the Class of 1985 Cup, its first win in the race since 1998. The race wasn't without drama, as the race had to be decided by video evidence. The times were declared a dead heat but the race was awarded to Dartmouth on an official's review of the video evidence.
First Varsity Eight is Undefeated Early- With the win over Yale last weekend, Dartmouth's top boat is undefeated through the first two weeks of the season. The Big Green boat is 4-0 with wins over Columbia, Northeastern, Boston University and Yale.
O'Leary Cup on the Line This Week - This weekend's races against Radcliffe and Syracuse will be the second cup race for the Big Green this season. Dartmouth has been racing for the O'Leary Cup since 2000 and the Big Green has claimed the last two cups. Should the Big Green claim the O'Leary Cup it will be the first time Dartmouth has won three of the four cups it races for throughout the regular season since the 2010 season when the Big Green won the Parent Cup (vs. Cornell) and the O'Leary Cup (vs. Radcliffe, Syracuse).
CMax Rankings Released - The first CMax rankings of the 2012 season have been released and the Dartmouth first varsity eight is ranked among the fastest boats in the country. The Big Green is ranked No. 14 and is 14.1 seconds behind the nation's top boat from Michigan. The CMax rankings are used to provide a relative estimate of how fast a team is.
Dartmouth In the Rankings - The Big Green are at No. 20 in this week's CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll. The Big Green opened the season at No. 17 in the initial poll released on March 15. Princeton leads the Ivy League contingent at No. 5. Brown (No. 10), Radcliffe (No. 12), Cornell (No. 14), Columbia (No. 16), and Yale (No. 17) round out the Ivy League boats.

Dartmouth Opens Season Ranked No. 17 in CRCA/US Rowing Poll - The Big Green, fresh off an appearance at the 2011 NCAA Championships, earned a No. 17 ranking in the initial poll on March 15. The Big Green is one of six Ivy League schools ranked in the preseason poll. Princeton checked in at No. 3 to lead all Ivy League schools while Brown is at No. 4. Yale enters at No. 7, Radcliffe is No. 12 and Cornell is No. 15. Penn and Columbia also received votes.
Dartmouth Hosts Cornell - Dartmouth crew fans will be able to see the Big Green at home on Saturday April 28 when they host Cornell in the final regatta of the season before heading to the Ivy League Championship.
