Maycock and Dumais Named the Cross Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H. - Last weekend a pair of sophomores really stood out as each helped their team to victories as they were named the Cross High Performance Athletes of the Week.

Camille Dumais netted six points as the Big Green women's hockey team swept its league opponents while Robbie Maycock's victory at the No. 6 spot gave Dartmouth squash a 7-2 win over Williams as the Big Green is on a three-game win streak.

Dartmouth Female Athlete of the Week:
Camille Dumais (Beaconsfield, Que.), Women's Hockey, Sophomore, Forward
Sophomore Camille Dumais tallied six points in three victories for the Big Green last week. In the win at Vermont, she netted one goal and tallied two assists. Against Union on Friday, she scored one goal. In the victory over Rensselaer on Saturday, she scored a goal and recorded an assist. On the season, she is second on the team in points with 21. She has eight goals and a team-best 13 assists.


Dartmouth Male Athlete of the Week:
Robbie Maycock (Devonshire, Bermuda), Men's Squash, Sophomore

Robbie Maycock helped Dartmouth to its third straight victory with a 7-2 win over Williams last weekend. With a 3-0 shutout of his opponent, Maycock improved to 7-3 on the season. The win is Maycock's third straight as the sophomore continues to be a factor for the Big Green. He has played at almost every spot on the ladder in his two years and this season he continues to improve and help his team to victories as No. 7 Dartmouth has just seven matches left in 2011.
