A starter on defense last season, McIntryre helped the Big Green to a 5-2 Ivy record and recorded 17 ground balls overall.

For my off term, I am living in the capital of Morocco, Rabat. Monday through Friday I volunteer at an orphanage doing whatever they need, planning activities and playing with the kids. In the afternoons, I take cultural lessons about the history and politics of Morocco and different aspects of Islam, the predominant religion of the country. I have also been taking Arabic language lessons, learning phrases that are helping me commutate with the kids at the orphanage and the merchants in the markets of downtown Rabat.

On weekends, I have been traveling Morocco, exploring the country from the beach to the mountains. My favorite weekend so far was spent n the Sahara desert. With a group of fellow volunteers, I traveled to the southernmost part of Morocco and rode a camel into the desert to a camp where I spent the night under the desert stars. Morocco is an amazing country, and I am really enjoying being immersed in such a different culture.
