THIS WEEKEND’S GAMES
The Dartmouth men’s soccer team hits the road to the Great Lake State to take on No. 13 Michigan State, before heading to Ann Arbor to face Michigan.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
Michigan State started the season at the No. 22 slot of the Coaches Poll before moving to No. 13 this week, following wins over SIUE and St. Louis.  Junior forward Ryan Sierakowski, who is on the 2017 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Watch List, leads the Spartans with two assists.  Sierakowski was joined by seniors Jimmy Fiscus and Ken Krolicki on the Big Ten Preseason awards list. The Spartans were voted to finish fourth in the Big Ten this season.

SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES
The Wolverines will have three games under their belt come game time Monday afternoon.  Currently at 1-0-1, Michigan plays Cleveland State on Friday. Sophomore Jack Hallahan scored the lone goal for the tie in Monday’s evening game against Valparaiso, he also tied the program record for most shots in a game with 11.  Fellow sophomore, Andrew Verdi, has played all minutes in the goal for the Wolverines, recording a shut-out in the season opener against William & Mary.

FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
This weekend will be the first time Dartmouth plays Michigan in men’s soccer program history.  The Big Green have faced Michigan State only once before, in 2005, coming away with a tie.

FRESH FACES
Members of the class of 2021 will make their collegiate debuts this season.  New to the Big Green are freshmen Steven Hadley, Aron Rudich, Patrick Murphy, Aaron Schwartz, Kennedy Davis, Christopher Palacios, Tiger Graham, Matthew Ranieri, Kota Sakurai and Dawson McCartney.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN
Three seniors, Wyatt Omsberg, Matt Danilack and Tyler Dowse, will play their last season in the green and white as captains of their squad.
