HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Dartmouth men’s track & field team finished its weekend at High Point’s Bob Davidson Spring Kick-Off at Dick Vert Stadium in first place.

The Big Green posted 109 points over the course of the two days of team competition. Second-place Monmouth was 18 points back.

Phillip Gomez was the top collegiate runner in the 800m, taking second overall in 1:52.43. Sophomore Parker Johnson was also second in the 400m hurdles, crossing in 53.18, just two-tenths of a second back of the first-place runner from Mount St. Mary’s.

The 4x400m relay team was third in 3:17.82 with a second Big Green team also running and taking seventh in 3:21.76.

In the hammer throw, Colin Minor was third (58.31m), while Timothy Brennan was sixth (56.12). Lucas Ribeiro was also sixth in the discus with a measured throw of 46.98m.

In the finals of the high jump, senior Alex Frye was second as he cleared 2.01m.
