The future looks bright for the Big Green. Freshmen Cha'mia Rothwell and Cam Strong led their respective teams to victory over the weekend. Rothwell won two events and placed in a third to lead the women's track and field team to their seventh straight Dartmouth Relays victory. Classmate Cam Strong had two goals in two games including the tennis ball goal in a 5-0 win over Princeton.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Cha’mia Rothwell, Fr., Durham, N.C., Sprints/Jumps, Women's Track and Field

Had a monster Sunday at the Dartmouth Relays to help the Big Green women’s team to a resounding victory with 202 team points. Competing in her first home Relays, Rothwell claimed victory in the 60m and long jump, setting a new school record in the process as she broke her own mark. She would also earn another 10 points in the 60m hurdles as the top collegiate finisher in the race.

Cam Strong, Fr., Billings, Mont., F, Men's Hockey

Scored a goal in each of Dartmouth’s two games last weekend. His first goal of the weekend proved to be the winner against Princeton as the rookie winger became the fourth straight freshman to score the tennis ball goal. He followed up with a breakaway tally the follow night in a comeback bid that fell just short versus No. 15 Quinnipiac. He now has seven goals this season, good for the team lead.
