HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men’s and women’s track & field teams are back in action this weekend at Leverone Field House with a tri-meet featuring Yale and Columbia.
The Big Green will be running in the familiar confines of their home facility for the second straight weekend after hosting the 45th Annual Dartmouth Relays Jan. 10-12.
Both the men’s and the women’s teams kept their active title streaks alive at the regional meet with victories on Sunday. The men pushed their run to three straight crowns by edging out Southern Connecticut, 120-113, while the women put up 140.5 points to best second-place Harvard by 17.5 and take home their fourth straight Dartmouth Relays Championship.
Six women won events to help add to their team total, while the men’s team saw four individuals and a relay team win events en route to their latest Relays crown.
This weekend will be the second of four home meets at Leverone for the Green and White this season as the Dartmouth Classic (Feb. 1) and the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship (Mar. 1-2) remain on the schedule.
The first field event of the day is set to begin at 11 a.m., while running on the newly installed track is set to get underway at noon.
