HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s cross country team will be going in two different directions this weekend. Seven members of the Big Green will make their way to Madison, Wis., for the Wisconsin adidas Invitational on Saturday, while 10 others will head to Warwick, R.I. for the Rothenburg Run to kick off the weekend on Friday.
One of the top races all season, the adidas Invitational features 37 total teams from across the country, including five Ivy League programs (Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard and Yale). The race is set for noon local time (1 p.m. ET) Saturday on the 6K Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course adjacent to the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison.
The Rothenberg is held at Goddard State Park in Warwick and is hosted by Brown. Besides the Big Green and the host Bears, Boston College, UMass, UConn, Bryant Harvard and Rhode Island will also comprise the field which will run the 5K course Friday at 3:40 p.m.
