CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Connor Reilly won both the 60 and 200 meters Sunday afternoon at the 2013 USATF New England Indoor Championships. The meet was held at Harvard's Gordon Track, home of next weekend's 2013 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
Reilly ran a 6.84 in the 60m, the only runner in a field of 33 to break seven seconds in the event. Teammate Brett Buskey was second in 7.02.
In the 200m, the senior from Niskayuna, N.Y., narrowly edged out second-place Alix Durand by two-hundredths of a second. Reilly crossed the line in 22.18, while Durand of team Dare 2 Dream followed in 22.20.
Jalil Bishop was third in the 200, running a 22.54, while Buskey claimed fifth in 23.11.
The men's team also ran in the 4x440-yard relay, taking second in 3:26.67, the best finish by a college group in the event.
