NEW HAVEN, CONN.  - The No. 8 Dartmouth women's squash team won a non-conference match against No. 13 Bates on Sunday morning at the Brady Squash Center on Yale's campus.

The Big Green's 9-0 triumph over the Bobcats snaps a four game losing streak. With the win, the Green and White improve to 4-5, while Bates suffered its fourth consecutive loss.

The team from the Upper Valley won six-of the-nine matches, 3-0. Melina Turk, Katherine Nimmo, Tori Dewey, Lydie McKenzie, Helena Darling and Oona Morris coasted to victories without surrendering a game.

After falling behind, 2-1, Corey Schafer took the last two games to claim a five-game win over Cherri-Ann Parris at the No.1 spot.

The women return home on Feb. 2, when they host No. 6 Cornell in Ivy League play.
