Dartmouth Says Goodbye to the Class of 2012
HANOVER, N.H. — On June 10th, Dartmouth Volleyball team members Annie Villanueva (Santa Barbara, Calif.), Amber Bryant (Libertyville, Ill.), Kendall Houston (Austin, Texas) and Madeline Baird (Austin, Texas) graduated from Dartmouth.
The 2012 class was one of the most decorated classes in Dartmouth volleyball history. Baird was named All-Ivy four times (first team once, second team twice and honorable mention once), and holds the all-time kills record at Dartmouth with 1,267. Villanueva was named second-team All-Ivy in 2011, and holds both the career (.290 on 658 kills, 190 errors and 1,615 total attempts) and single-season (.372 on 259 kills, 52 errors and 557 total attempts) hitting-percentage records.
Bryant holds the single-match (40), single-season (485) and career (1,550) digs records. She was named Academic All-Ivy the last two seasons and in 2011, was named to the Capital One Academic All-District I Division I Volleyball Team. Houston is fourth all-time in assists at Dartmouth with 1,769.
