The Dartmouth women's crew team is back in action on Saturday (Apr. 7) when they square off with Yale and Boston University for the Class of 1985 Cup. Racing will be on the Housatonic River in New Haven. First races will go off at 8: 00 a.m. Fans can watch the races live here.

Big Green Tidbits
Nice Way to Open - The Big Green raced well in their first outing of the 2012 competitive season sweeping all four races against Northeastern and Columbia on Saturday (March 31) on the Charles River in Boston, Mass.
Dartmouth Battles for the Class of 1985 Cup - This weekend's races against Ivy League foe, Yale and Boston University will be the first cup race for the Big Green this season. Dartmouth has been racing for the Class of 1985 Cup since 1990. The Big Green race for four cups throughout the season and they include the O'Leary Cup against Radcliffe and Syracuse, the Parent Cup against Cornell and the Class of 1984 Cup against Penn and Princeton, in addition to the Class of 1985 Cup. Dartmouth hasn't won the Class of 1985 Cup since 1998.
Men's Heavyweights Join Women's Crew in New Haven - There will be a lot of Dartmouth Green in New Haven this weekend as both the women's crew team and the heavyweight team will be racing in New Haven.
Dartmouth Moves Up the Rankings - The Big Green, who weren't ranked in last week's poll as they hadn't started racing yet, are up to No. 19 in this week's CRCA/USRowing poll released on April 4. Dartmouth was ranked No. 17 in the initial poll of the season released on March 15. Princeton leads the Ivy League squads at No. 6, followed by Brown at No. 10, Harvard at No. 11,Yale at No. 13 and Cornell at No. 16. Columbia is also receiving votes in this week's poll.

Dartmouth Opens Season Ranked No. 17 in CRCA/US Rowing Poll - The Big Green, fresh off an appearance at the 2011 NCAA Championships, earned a No. 17 ranking in the initial poll on March 15. The Big Green is one of six Ivy League schools ranked in the preseason poll. Princeton checked in at No. 3 to lead all Ivy League schools while Brown is at No. 4. Yale enters at No. 7, Radcliffe is No. 12 and Cornell is No. 15. Penn and Columbia also received votes.
Dartmouth Hosts Cornell - Dartmouth crew fans will be able to see the Big Green at home on Saturday April 28 when they host Cornell in the final regatta of the season before heading to the Ivy League Championship.
