The purpose of the Varsity Sports Office is to provide oversight and assistance to Dartmouth’s 34 varsity sports, close to 100 coaches and nearly 1000 student-athletes. Administrators work directly with coaches on improving the quality of Big Green programs as well as making sure that student-athletes have an enriching experience. In addition, the Varsity Sports Office also oversees compliance with NCAA and Ivy rules, home contest event management, student-athlete academic progress, and administration of the NCAA CHAMPS/Life Skills program.
For student-athletes looking for assistance, your first resource should be a member of your coaching staff. Your next resource can be the administrator for your sport (listed below).
