HANOVER, N.H. - Over the weekend, Joe Marsh wrapped up the year as Dartmouth women's hockey's interim head coach at the rink he called home for 27 years: Appleton Arena in Canton, New York.
Cap Carey of the Watertown Daily Times interviewed Marsh after the team's finale against St. Lawrence. During the game against the Saints, Marsh was recognized twice, receiving a standing ovation both times.
The Big Green concluded 2017-18 with an overall record of 5-19-3 and were 3-16-3 in ECAC Hockey play. Throughout the five-month season, Dartmouth had big wins over Quinnipiac (1-0), Maine (3-0) and Holy Cross (4-3). In her final season in Hanover, Hailey Noronha led the team with 14 points (3G, 11A). She reached her 100th career game against RPI on Feb. 9, as did classmate Morgan Turner.
