NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth women’s tennis team ended the Bulldog Invitational on Sunday by facing Columbia, winning two doubles matches and four singles matches.

Senior Kristina Mathis and freshman Maddie Hwang paired up to take down Adi Pollack and Jennifer Kerr, 6-4, while sophomore Catherine Cable and freshman Jasmine Abidi had a very close 7-6(6) victory over Renee Ren and Sarah Hu.

Mathis picked up another win thanks to her 6-2, 7-6(3) victory over Christie Wan. Fellow senior Julia Schroeder defeated Kerr, 7-6(1), 6-0, while freshman Abigail Chiu had an easy 6-0, 6-2 defeat of Paulina Ferrari. Sophomore Allison McCann added one more win for Dartmouth when she took down Sarah Rahman, 6-0, 7-6(3).

Next up for the Big Green will be the ITA Northeast Regional Championship, which will be hosted by Penn from Oct. 18-23.
