HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men’s cross country team posted a perfect score of 15 points at the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational Saturday morning at the Hanover Country Club.

Running in the season-opening race at home renamed in honor of the former Big Green student-athlete and coach, the team dominated from start to finish, taking home all scoring slots in the 8K race.

Leading the way and picking up the individual title was senior Pat Gregory, crossing in 24:56.82. Making his collegiate debut, freshman Patrick O'Brien was second in 25:10.89.

Junior Sander Kushen (3rd, 25:24.30), freshman Benjamin Matejka (4th, 25:24.82) and sophomore Sean Laverty (5th, 25:36.25) rounded out the scoring for the home team.

The Big Green have now placed first as a team at this meet in four straight years dating back to the beginning of the 2014 campaign.

Dartmouth returns to action on Friday, Sept. 22 at Boston College.
