HANOVER, N.H. – In the first day of the College Squash Association Individual Championship, five members of the Dartmouth women’s squash team competed in the post season tournament held at the Berry Squash Courts in Hanover.
In the Holleran Division, senior Jacqueline Barnes defeated Middlebury’s Alexa Comai 3-1, in the Big Green’s first victory of the afternoon. She will advance to the next round which will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Dartmouth’s other victory came from Annie Blasberg who defeated Drexel’s Fiona Power in straight games to advance to the next round.
Meanwhile Janel Gaube fell to the Dragon’s Hayley Hughes, 3-2 and Julia Potter lost to Columbia’s Colette Sultana, 3-0.
Day Two of the CSA Individual Championship will continue tomorrow at 8 a.m.
