Bio

Junior (2016-17): Competed in 15 matches at the No. 8 and No. 9 positions…Won nine matches….Defeated his George Washington opponent to help propel the Big Green to Hoehn Cup finals. 

Sophomore (2015-16): Competed in three positions…Won 11 of 14 matches played…Started the season 4-0…Won his last four matches of the season…6-2 in Ivy League play.

Freshman (2014-15): Finished his first season with the Big Green competing in 16 matches with a record of 6-10 …  Competed in positions No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8 … Had a winning record in spot No. 7 and went 3-5 in No. 8.

Before Dartmouth: 
A four-year letterwinner at nationally-ranked SCH Academy. Giegerich finished in the top 16 at the U.S. Nationals as a senior and was named All-Inter-AC First Team and All-MASA as a junior and senior. He is a member of the Cum Laude Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Gary and Diana Giegerich … Has one brother and one sister … His brother Matthew is also a member of the Dartmouth men's squash team … His father Gary was a four-year wrestler at Penn … Plans to study economics with a career in business … Enjoys golf and kayaking.
