Taylor Black is entering his fourth year as the men's lightweight assistant coach in 2016-17. Black was a captain of the Cornell rowing team and graduated in 2013.
As a senior, Black was an important part of the Cornell Varsity 8 squad that placed fourth at the Princeton Chase, fifth at the IRA National Championships, sixth at the Head of the Charles and sixth at Eastern Sprints.
In his junior year, he received a Silver Medal at Eastern Sprints and the IRA National Championship.
Since graduation, Black has worked and coached at several rowing camps and clubs, including the CRI of Boston, Boston University Rowing, and the Cornell Rowing Camp.
Aside from his duties at Dartmouth, Black is enrolled at the Institute of Rowing Leadership in Boston.
