HANOVER, N.H. – Fresh off a 13-4 season last fall, head coach Theresa Romagnolo will have another challenging slate for her Dartmouth women’s soccer team in the upcoming 2013 campaign.

In all, the Big Green will square off in 17 total games this fall with eight coming in the familiar confines of Burnham Field in Hanover.

After road games at Purdue (Sept. 6) and Northwestern (Sept. 8) to begin the year, the team’s home opener will come against Fordham on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Three more road contests at UConn (Sept. 15), St. John’s (Sept. 20) and Brown (Sept. 29) are also scheduled for the first month of the season with the game in Providence against the Bears serving as the Ivy League opener as well.

In addition to Fordham, Maine (Sept. 22) and UMass-Lowell (Sept. 26) are also set for matches in the Upper Valley during the month of September.

October features four Ivy match-ups, including two at home against Princeton (Oct. 5) and Columbia (Oct. 26) with road games at Yale (Oct. 12) and Penn (Oct. 19) sandwiched in between. Non-conference home tilts with Boston University (Oct. 16) and Brown (Oct. 22) and an away game at in-state rival New Hampshire (Oct. 9) are also on tap.

November sees the team conclude the regular season with two more Ivy foes. The month begins with a meeting at Harvard (Nov. 2) before wrapping-up in Hanover against Cornell (Nov. 9), where members of the senior class will be honored for their contributions to the Big Green women’s soccer program during their time in the Upper Valley.
