NICKERSON'S CAREER STATS
2015-16 (Junior): Played in 13 games, appearing in three postseason contests...In his season debut on Nov. 6 vs. Brown, picked up his first point with an assist on Josh Hartley's second-period goal...had his second and final point on an assist of a second-period goal from Corey Kalk at UNH on Dec. 11...Blocked five shots...Was not whistled for a penalty all season.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Appeared in nine games…Scored his first collegiate goal against RPI on Jan. 30 at home…The goal came 1:08 into the third period and was shorthanded…Had assists in both games of the Ledyard Classic against both Denver (Jan. 2) and Boston College (Jan. 3)…Finished the season with the one goal and three points…Was a +2 rating…Was not called for a penalty…Dartmouth was 1-1-1 in games in which Nickerson picked up a point.
2013-14 (Freshman): Saw action in 24 games as a rookie…Picked up two assists over the course of the season…His first collegiate point came at home on Dec. 30 as he assisted on Josh Hartley’s first goal of the day…He also picked up a helper on his cousin Nick Lovejoy’s first career goal at BU on Jan. 8, a goal that proved to be the game winner…Only called for two minor penalties and just four PIMs… Dartmouth was 1-0-1 when he registered a point.
Before Dartmouth: In two seasons with the Junior Bruins, Nickerson proved to be a valuable member of the team as both its captain and one of its top offensive talents… After scoring four goals and adding 15 assists for 19 points in his first season with the team, Nickerson set new marks in 2012-13 with 32 points on 12 goals and 20 assists…Played two seasons at Weston High School before making the jump to juniors and the Boston Advantage and Junior Bruins…Played lacrosse while at Weston, helping lead his team to a Division III Massachusetts State Championship as a senior captain in 2011…Received multiple honors in both hockey and lacrosse while in high school in addition to being named to the EJHL All-Star Team in 2012.
