Q & A with Josh Schoenbart

Why Dartmouth?

Dartmouth is an extraordinary place. I wanted to attend a small school, and academics and rowing were my priorities. Dartmouth has an exceptional lightweight rowing program. It has also been consistently ranked as the number one Undergraduate institution in the country. In addition, I was intrigued by its social life.

How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?

I have been rowing since the spring season of my freshman year in high school. From first rowing at a recreational level, rowing soon became a full time commitment. It has taught me very valuable life lessons and has helped me both on the water, in the classroom and with my other extra-curricular activities.
